So I decided to go ahead and make a blog for my personal rantings and leave this one for all of my Flash Work or anything else pertaining to Game Design/Graphics design.

On that note I found a really nice school for game design however it is in Florida. I really want to pursue a career in game/graphics/web design. My parents and almost everyone I talk to say it is unrealistic but I am completely serious about it. Anyway the school is called Full Sail and I haven't looked at all the details yet but I am really interested. Hopefully once these computers get flash I can start really cracking down on it. It would be nice if I was actually in the Globaloria program this year but I guess working on a game independently will give me more experience anyway.

Hii.
So today started out okay. I didn't have my English hw done first block so I rushed to do that but thank God I got it done. I have got to stop procrastinating. I really don't like to do it I honestly try to get homework done but I get distracted by everything when I try. Oh well that isn't what I am irritated about. Today I found out that I am banned from the second cheerleading tryouts. I have cheered since 7th grade and this year at tryouts I was going through a lot of emotional..crap. I was seriously a wreck and I knew they would be having second tryouts so I was going to get everything straightened out by then. Well today I was informed that at practice my "friend" who I was telling how bad I wanted to try out again stood up and said that people like me who have already tried out and quit are not dependable and should not be allowed to try out and it isn't fair to the other girls. I am not going to get too personal on this thing but I was in such a bad state..I didnt quit because I was lazy or I dont enjoy cheerleading. I love it. It just really makes me upset that after everything Ive been through with these girls they cant stand up for me and say yeah she should be allowed. Especially after all the Hard Work Ive put into the team and how many times I have been stepped on. Even at Pep Rallys I would stand with the freshman because the other girls in my grade didnt want to even though I had cheered longer than them. I learned my tuck in like 2 months so I could have it for competition. Oh well....

Another Day..

Hey! today has been a very long day! Classes seem like they never end, the sun isn't shining, I was told earlier by someone they hope I go home and slit my wrist (yeah I honestly couldn't tell you why ..they just dont like me.) Which brings me to something that has been bothering me. Lately I have found out about alot of people that don't like me. I really don't understand why though. I try to be extremely nice to everyone around me and not seem like a "dislikable" person. Is that a word? but I guess it isn't working. I mean I can be annoying when I am hyper and I tend to talk too much sometimes. haha. Im sure you couldnt tell with these blog posts. but still I like everyone unless they are actually mean to me. I am pretty shy when it comes to people I don't know unless I'm hyper then I talk to anyone and they probably think I am a freak. lol. I'm trying not to let it get to me. I mean all I can do is be myself and I guess if people don't like me for being me than there really is nothing I can do about it but i just dont think its right not to like someone you don't even know. I have made friends with people recently and heard things about them before that would make them seem like a bad person but none of it was true and they are great people. Hatred spreads way too quickly and words get twisted too often. It really isn't fair to a lot of good people with bad reputations because there are those that are judgemental. I suppose I have ranted enough and honestly I don't even know if anyone is going to read these. Oh well. it is a really nice way to let things out.

Hi!
So im really excited because after stressing about it since school started mr. allder finally told me to get guts and talk to my counselor myself to get switched into guitar and im glad i did because I no longer have to endure Spanish 2 with a 15. actually I think my grade was lower than that. but anyway. I'm starting to feel better but I still have moments of -omg if i dont lay down right now im probably going to pass out and die- but oh well...I updated the layout of my blog but I will probably change it soon ..I just wanted something different for now. I am really nervous about guitar because idk where im going to be put. everyone is alot better and im not so sure that my style of singing or playing is going to fit anywhere but maybe I can play piano or something. idk i really dont. but we will figure it out. I probably talk way too much on these things but I have a lot of free time and no life. :/ I used to read this blog and every monday they did 13 things. like 13 foods i love or 13 reasons why i hate/love school. and so anyway i think im going to do something like that because that will give me something to do. but seriously i do talk too much so im going to stop now.

Senior Year

So its finally my senior year. Unfortunately I've been getting sick every other day and had to miss 5 days already :( so to get my mind off throwing up and releive my boredom of sitting in my room doing nothing I decided to go ahead and make my first post for this year. Im not in globaloria anymore but I am going to make a game independently and post my progress on here.
Ive changed a little since last year so I might as well go ahead and make another about me. Im 17 now..I enjoy video games, computers, hiking, flipping, drawing, and music. I used to be a cheerleader but I quit this year so I have a lot of free time. I dedicate most of it to writing songs or playing Halo unless its pretty outside. Lately Ive been taking lots of walks through the woods and riding dirtbikes but I havent rode one since the brakes went out on me and I almost got pretty hurt. Ill get back to it eventually though..probably when Im not sick everyday if that happens ever. My aunt had a baby last night so Im officially not the only grandaughter of the Jones family. I havent seen her yet though so Ill probably do that this weekend. but Ill shut up now.

Hi! So yeah..Phil gave me his flash drive today because he wouldn't be here with the main game code. So I got the scrolling background to work with the code we are using for our game and it looked nice but my computer decided to die on me. I love life...so much. but I have surgery on Friday and I am probably going to be on some pain medication that makes me not as here as I would like to be...so I will probably forget the awesomeness I added to the game today. So as a reminder to myself I need to remeber to add the code to the mainGround MC on the last frame..and I just realized I lost that cool acceleration rotation code that weve been looking for for well..like..a month..or two.? woo. but okay I guess Ill shut up now.

Hi!
okay so I don't want to kill myself over flash today! yay.
Well the last few class periods and in between I have been working to make my car move and rotate while having a scrolling background.
After many hours I finally got it!
and to be honest I feel like an idiot because it was actually really simple.
Im not sure what I was thinking before but atleast I got it now.
I think I'm def. starting to get actionscript down better.
Now all we have to do is put all of our peices together. poor phil.
hes the main one doing it.
but we will get it by Friday I'm sure.
I'm very hungry.
which is weird because I ate mine and phils lunch today.
That was an hour and a half ago.
I shouldn't be hungry.
It must be all this thinking.
I don't want to go to math. It makes me a bad person.
I would much rather be in globaloria.

I just tried for an hour and a half to get sound working with a keyboard function and I didnt get it. oh and Phil also reminded me that I also failed at trying to get a car to move.

Today we did a game pitch to "clients". I don't think my group did the best because we were all nervous. I still think we should change our team name because it is too long and unprofessional. I think we all realized that our game is going to take a lot of hard work, more then we had originally planned. Hopefully we will get it all done before the year is out.

Today we took our pictures for the user gallery, mine is awful but atleast I had my favorite shirt on. Also my Photo effect went with my shirt because it was a batgirl shirt and I had a comic book effect.

It was a pretty fun class because we got our laptops. YAY :)

Our group came up with a pretty good idea on a game today. I think if we really try to make it match up to our idea it will be an amazing game. Other then that we watched a video on paper prototyping and im pretty confused on how We are going to put a drunk driving simulation on paper but I guess we'll find out.
